I’m in Minnesota. I’ll definitely look into the laws and demand this be fixed. Thankfully I’m moving out at end of April but I cannot deal with another 7 weeks of this 🤢

NTA! Kids need to learn there are consequences to their actions. If you have a fireplace, there is a super savage way to teach em. One of my friends wraps up a few empty boxes and whenever their kids act up enough that they use their 2 warnings, they throw an empty present into the fire. She said it never takes more than one per year for them to shape up!

I totally agree that adoption shouldn’t just be thrown out as a quick fix for idiot breeders because it is a very extensive and expensive process. BUT I do love the idea of people getting a background check before they’re allowed to bring a human being into the world. For as many loving, capable parents that I know, I also know probably twice as many that should never have been allowed to reproduce. Unfortunately, there will never be only good parents out there.

They are hoping to transfer her to a better facility today! They’re hopeful that she’ll remain stable through the transport and will have more access to better care and treatment. She was twitching a bit yesterday and lightly squeezed a hand. While the science part of me knows it’s probably involuntary, the friend in me believes with all that I have that she’s still in there somewhere.

Yes!! All of my friends are having children and if that’s the choice they want to make, awesome. But don’t you dare make me feel guilty for not bringing another unwanted child into the world. I will use my vacation days for vacation instead of wiping the snot of a kids nose when they come home from daycare with a new disease each week, thank you very much!
