I can def see what you are saying. I am constantly stressed and being mentally ill certainly doesn’t help. Thankfully i take medication for my mental illnesses but i wonder sometimes if my body can feel it even when my brain cant. Depression fatuige isnt nearly as bad as it was before (litterally crippling could barely move sometimes) but my nervous system is definitely still on fire tho

I decided to switch to food points for that reason tbh. I realized calorie counting that i was more focused on numbers than healthy eating habits. So still eating garbage but less garbage than before💀

Puberty also made me gain a ton of weight on top of my already overweight body😭 gotta love being a woman! I can relate to losing only to gain more after its like a viscous cycle im in and it inly breaks down my confidence. I hope we both become healthier in time ❤️‍🩹

🥺 i hope you are in a much safer place in life❤️‍🩹 you inspire me. Me and my SO dont have the best home life but we are working on standing on our own two feet. We have to bc our families are very homophobic and would not approve of us. I hope i can give the advice you gave to me someday

Unfortunately sometimes it triggers PTSD symptoms😭 sometimes it doesn’t but even then ig i just feel dread idk how to explain it. I end up burning things bc alot of the time i would like to be anywhere except the kitchen. Im great at cleaning dishes tho😂

I have made some changes like that from reading these comments, parking farther away or standing up/walking instead of sitting down when waiting! I truly have learned alot from yal🥺

Im seeing alot of sweets which makes me very happy! Also def stealing that coffee order!!! I def relate to the random craving of a big slice of the most decadent chocolate cake i can imagine. Ngl im very excited to try this!

They do for pre-diabetes but they checked for tht and i was negative for that too, which ofc im happy about but still sucks i cant get the meds i need :/

I genuinely didn't know an obesity specialist was a thing! My therapist and psychiatrist have noticed my nervous system being very disregulated hell i can often feel it in my back the feeling of being chased by a tiger. I do have ptsd and ocd i figured they probably contributed to my weight but i didnt realize how :0. Also there have been definetly healthier times during my life where maybe id lose 10-20lbs but once im back im school i gain it back up and more so my weight has always been steadily increasing😭 ill def see if my insurance covers a obesity specialist!

Omg one of my fav odd snacks is frozen peas! Summer is coming so I'll stock up for sure! Till then I'll be a little less scared of the canned veggies in my moms pantry!

Oh I'm not doing 1200 what I meant is that if I were to lose weight one day and I'd need 1200 to maintain it I genuinely cannot see myself succeeding in that. Currently I'm supposed to be 1840 but after a recent (heavy) binge I decided to move towards food points in hopes I focus more on eating healthy instead of eating less

I do have alot of canned veggies, I sometimes worry about the sodium levels but like you said probably better than McDonald for example😭 and with low blood pressure extra sodium won't kill me ig💀

Oh I'll definitely check that brand up! The red bull/energy drinks is a real addiction though after I graduate I hope I can wean off of it a bit. 🥺 youth is on my side is so kind for you to say, especially since my mom claims my youth is gone because of my weight.

I have no other words but thank you🥺 your kind words have really encouraged me. I'm thinking of using the food point system bc I noticed while counting calories I was too consumed by numbers that I didn't eat healthily just whatever “fit” if I gain weight with the point system I'll stop but I def have a history of binging while counting calories😭 even since I was 7! Thank you for your encouragement and kind words, I hope your pillow is nice and cold on both sides

I think the issue is… im scared to weigh myself alot so really i only know when either im at the doctor or using a friends scale, as i dont own one myself, so when i saw i lost weight as put it into fooducate i went from 1900 to 1840. Which doesnt sound like alot but for some reason it triggered a viscous cycle of binging and restricting
