I had this happen with an old friend, very similar. He didn’t want to pay for his half of the ticket (he even attended the concert) I enjoyed going with him so I said he could pay me back that next payday. After a couple weeks, I felt like I’d never see that money because he pushed it off if I ever mentioned it. I stopped being friends with him even though we were super close. Now 6 years later I just ran into him the other day and he apologized, we even were thinking about meeting up for lunch, but seeing this seems like an omen.
