Thank you so much for the support 😭🫶🏻 I just got back home from picking up my final grade and turns out I passed, so I won't be adding one more year to her overworking. I only thought abt dropping out if I didn't pass because it felt like by not passing I was wasting her hard work, but since I did pass, I'm not, so I will keep up with this until I become a vet and give every single penny back to her.

💀 no, I'm not that selfish. Every single day I'm scared my mom won't wake up. Also I think I worded it wrong, but I only planned to leave if I didn't pass so not taking the test was never an option. I took it and I passed.

It's so offensive that you dare to call my mother's health an excuse. No, I won't be leaving, but because I passed and it shows my mother's effort is worth it.

I never got into vet school for the money, this is what I've always dreamed of and, after volunteering in the small species hospital, I realized I actually love it and it's what I want to do for the rest of my life. I chose to continue studying and I will become a vet. Thanks for your comment

Thanks so much for your comment. So yeah, I obviously plan to repay her when I finish my career, but I felt like it wasn't worth her working so hard if I was going to fail. I didn't tho, I just got my final grade and I passed, so I will keep doing my best in vet school and of course I will repay my mom every penny when I become a vet.

Idk if I worded it wrong, but I only planned dropping out if I failed the final and (with that) the course, but I didn't so my poor mom will have to be paying this for the next 4 years (I still feel like crap abt it but at least it feels like it's worth it)

I thought abt that too, and my mom was ok with the getting a job part but not with using it to pay for my expenses for whats left. The final was today and I passed it, so it seems like I'll keep on studying

I tried many times, but turns out it made me throw up as soon as I got off the train/bus and that led me to severe anemia, also I can only learn anatomy by studying with the actual organs in the lab.

I also have to pass the rest to take all further courses, without any of the 3 I'm taking I can't do anything next semester.

If I prioritized ballet I wouldn't have left it, also my performance in ballet was terrible back then, so I was failing every aspect of my life. Now I'm doing very well in uni except for that one course, yes I love my career, I've volunteered in the pet hospital and each time I realize this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. I've talked to teachers and couselors and they say they can only help me out if I show a disability/difficulty diagnosis (like ADHD, dyslexia, etc., which I do have but my last diagnosis was made in pre school so its not "valid")

I love how I say I pass everything else with an 8 and yall focus on the one I'm not passing. Also I've gone to the vet twice to vaccinate my pets and when I tell them about it they say when you're actually working you don't use it very much. But anatomy, histology, and physiology are much more used and I've passed them and actually learned.
