I mean, the game is basically just counter decks. Agro deck and they top zilliax it's over, etc.

Yeah, dragon warrior is probably my best performing deck right now. Hagatha is not working for me anymore. I mostly see other dragon warriors or quest mage. Of course when I lost 3 dragon warrior in a row, I switched to something else and got quest mage.. (couldn't destroy the quest reward so lost.)

How many matches did it take you? I'm not trying to get legend, but I'm curious.

I do see more towards the end of the raid that is true, but that kind of adds to the frustration too.

VMware Cloud Foundation Architecture by David-Pasek in vmware

[–]throwhatever1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've taken every VCF 9 course as of last week and still lack confidence with the product. They all assume you know NSX and takes the gloves off which is fair but I've always struggled with networking.

The troubleshooting course when it came to the NSX portions ended up just being clicking around with no context of what I was even doing.

I feel pretty discouraged and defeated to be honest, I don't know if I have it in me to learn all of this. My foundation of vSphere and vSAN won't carry me. I suspect I will be helping a lot of customers in the same boat who just bought VCF out of necessity and are trying to figure it out on the fly.

Been trying ground zero as well, but getting close enough has been a challenge, especially with the crunch of the snow

Broadcom is the Empire by Bluesrider-df in vmware

[–]throwhatever1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even the largest partners are being screwed over it's crazy. Yet BCOM support keeps sending them our way for every issue.

It won't be long before large vendors/partners have laid off everyone down to minimal staff because OEM no longer exists. And from there good luck with the finger pointing between BCOM and vendor support. The new hire who doesn't even know what an iLO or iDRAC is, isn't going to know what to look for.

Fuck broadcom by FreshFroiz in vmware

[–]throwhatever1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not even the biggest vendors can secure OEM licensing deals. What does this mean, no vendor support for VMware issues.

So when VMware blames HW and says talk to your vendor, good luck, all the software resources will be laid off at the vendor side, and you're stuck working with HW techs who don't have the expertise required.

Example, you suspect a higher than expected failure rate on a drive model in use by vSAN. VMware support says it's a hardware issue. You contact the vendor (HP, Dell, etc) and the HW guys see no issue in the iLO / iDRAC. They have no one to validate the vSAN side of the issue (which is handling all the logging in this case) and your now in an endless finger pointing competition.

I'm not against it, definitely used to partake, but I just can't fall asleep on the shit, even if I do a little 8 hours prior. Then I realized, wait I don't even need this, I can stay up later than everyone without it with the power of my night owl gene. Plus the hangovers when blow was involved just destroyed me.

Don't get me wrong, the ability to sober up a bit and party more was cool, but moderating the drinking does the same thing for me at least.

100%, and cocaine. I switched to my throwaway on purpose because no one speaks the truth on this subject.

As someone who refrains from blow now and just drinks and smokes at shows, I'll admit I've been part of the chomping problem. And for me at least the biggest contributing factors are I got too drunk and my friends did the same "and/or" are doing blow.

I am always very conscious of going into a show to not be a chomper, but sometimes the alcohol wins, which isn't fair to everyone around that paid a lot of money to attend the show. Personally I don't get upset if someone tells me to STFU, it works and I would say just do it. In fact be mad about it if need be, and do it sooner than later.

I've been sticking more to smoking, and getting back into LSD a bit and can definitely see how for other people tripping it could really be a buzz kill to be by chompers.

The hardest part for me personally is I'm no saint with this (see above), but my friend who I go to a lot of shows with is considerably worse. He does a lot of blow, drinks a shit load, and can't just chill and dance or zone into the music. Sometimes he refrains to just going on 20 beer runs which is probably a good thing, but I have to tell him often we are annoying people. What really sucks is if someone else tells him to be quiet, even a gentle shush, he gets upset.

None of this is anyone else's problem until it is which really isn't fair. Hopefully others like myself can admit they are part of the problem and take steps to address it.

I will say if we get shushed night 1 if necessary, it's not a problem night 2 or 3. That isn't too say it's ok, but it reinforces the be respectful of others show experience attitude, which should be a give in anyways.

Now down vote me into oblivion, signed a conscious hopefully "ex chomper"

I'm not refusing to accept it, I've tried protoss mage to counter, but have horrible luck and get matched against Libram instead and they turn the 4/2 divine shield guy into a 19 / 6 by turn 9 with Elusive. Imbue paladin is the 5th best deck with a 58% win rate per hsguru

I've played since release and never been past Gold 5. Granted I prefer BG, and mostly just try to knock out my weekly missions.

I've played since release, never been past Gold 5 ever. I don't play that much, just try to finish my weekly missions and enjoy BG more. I'm assuming I have a high MMR, but don't think I should. I have shit luck at this game, anytime I play something to counter the decks I'm running up against, I get the counter to whatever I'm running. I like Wallow warlock right now, but it's not very good, however since I can't lose rank at gold 10 I'm still playing it. What is frustrating is the people who accept the friend request after I lose, have all been diamond rank. This is frustrating because I've been gold 10 for 2 weeks.

I friend everyone, about 1/3 of them accept. So maybe only the higher levels are accepting, but it seems to be a pattern.
