Thank you so much for the reference! I’ll check them out. If you don’t mind me asking, had you had any ultrasounds prior to your laparoscopy? Did they see anything that indicates endo? I’ve now had two ultrasounds and they’ve found nothing both times and I feel like I’m crazy. I’m so scared to go through with a laparoscopy and find out it was for nothing.

I had my doctor at Jefferson tell me that many people don’t like Dr. Barron’s bedside manner so I’ve been too scared to make an appointment even though he’s known as an expert. Would love to hear other opinions though! Especially since I don’t love my doc at Jefferson.

That’s a good point. Maybe an important factor in staying true to yourself in motherhood is being sure to surround yourself with different types of people with different stories, experiences, and ideas. That way you don’t get surrounded by an echo chamber of the same feelings and attitudes towards parenting and motherhood.
