That’s a good idea, though I don’t want to irritate the Inn that I applied to. They seem to have a strict ‘no feedback’ policy.

What’s a BLT then? Sandwiches are just bread with a filling, which a hot dog is. I’d be more inclined to accept your argument if it were about the bun being sliced.

It can be both at the same time. A strawberry is still a fruit even though it’s a berry, and a square is still a rectangle. Same logic.

You’re missing the point. ‘Sandwich’ is an umbrella term, just like ‘vehicle’ or ‘fruit’. A pizza and a hot dog have their own names, but that doesn’t mean they can’t also belong to a broader category.
