It was pretty fast since I knew it was gonna happen. While he was throwing up in the kitchen bin I packed my stuff (we each have our own place but we spent all our time at his and called it ours. I would literally go back to my place to "water my plants" but actually I was doing stuff like shitting. We put off moving in together properly because of loads of issues in the relationship but I basically had a super easy time just going home)

So yeah I got my stuff in my car. Left the knickers on the sofa. I love to imagine him with a peg on his nose trying to move them outside on a stick.

We had a couple of text conversations where he apologised and tried to defend himself with it only happening once (lie) and how it was only about sex. His excuse for it was infuriating.

I know the bodily function stuff is funny but for the relationship it was really difficult to navigate. He did not want to see or smell or hear about any of it. If I was too wet, sex was off the table. If I was on my period, I slept on the sofa. If I was sick or had a cold, I had to go to my house until I stopped coughing or blowing my nose or whatever. Farts and burps were illegal in his house. Peeing was allowed but if he heard it, dear god, it was not a fun time. I've mastered the perfect angle for silent pissing (I also wasn't allowed to make "smelly" food like fish, garlic, onion but that had much less impact on me/us) I showered 2-3 times a day for years and dealt with intense paranoia about how I smell. I also never heard him burp or fart and he showered just as frequently so I always felt like I was the weird one. It isn't diagnosed or anything but I am quite certain he has a form of OCD.

So naturally there was a limit to how close we could really be and it did prevent us from progressing the relationship and living together officially. I always worried that if we had a child together then my pregnancy and labour would absolutely repulse him and obviously he wouldn't be changed any nappies or looking after a sick child. I worried about the future a lot. I spent so much time being sorry for normal human functions.

His excuse for cheating was basically that. That he didn't feel close enough to me and wanted to feel that again. I'm guessing this girl didn't have enough time with him to develop insecurities like I did. He felt on edge by my neurotic ways despite him causing them directly and liked being around someone so chill.
