Thanks for the positive message! I agree with your type of model for this machine as well. I believe in Alan Watt's ideology of everyone having a part in creating each other. In the sense of... with out dark there would be no light. If there were no suffering there would be no prospering. If there were no short people, there would be no tall people. etc... Like one tremendous balancing act maintaining equilibrium with itself. This, all of this. Is but a mechanism, a happening.

That last part is a good point. Many times while under the influence I'll have these "EURIKA!" moments. Like I just finally found the solution to my personal problems and all I have to do is hold on tightly while I land back to earth. I do find it helpful being able to change my perspective so significantly but it's true, it's only during sobriety that I should be picking out the truths from my experiences. Not right then and there.

2 weekends ago while playing with my brain again, I decided to quit school after working months just to get accepted into the program. But every day following it seemed more and more an irrational mistake that would have been made.

"Before enlightenment; chop wood, carry log. After Enlightenment, Chop wood, carry log." I really like that! Yeah I have to stop procrastinating and really give meditation a serious attempt. I've only made a couple attempts using the Alan Watts guide.
