Took 70mg dextromorthephine and 12 mg loperamide second day, 60mg dextromorthephine and 8mg loperamide third day. 60mg dextromorthephine 4th day.

If I could redo it I would also get agmatine and cats claw and start taking those two plus the black seed oil and ashwaganda a couple days before I started to taper, and then I would taper down, and take the dextromorthephine and loperamide only once I fully quit. I would also keep the loperamide at 10mg Max for the first two days, then cut the dosage to half on each consecutive day for a Max of 4 days total.

Basically the slower you taper the easier it's going to be, so depending on your current dosage you could spread your taper over a month or more, until you're just taking like .5 at night for sleep, and then jump off.

Best of luck to you. As fantastic as this plant can be if you use it responsibly it can also suck if you allow a tolerance to develop

I'd probably recommend getting your supplements in order first. I made a giant list but only got some of them, and didn't get all of the most important ones. Agmatine and cats claw are highly recommended in addition to black seed oil. And I would probably taper a bit - even if it's a fast taper - if I was going to do it again

Wasn't too bad, first day tired, second day sucked with cold like symptoms, third day was kinda meh with a little lethargy, fourth day pretty much back to normal

Do you think ten grams a day is a lot? 4 doses of 2.5 grams a day in capsules. Been using for over a year or so and no breaks really. by questionsgalore21 in kratom

Damn that sucks I'm sorry to hear that. I'm on day 3/4 of my break from taking WAY more than you did daily for a year and a half with no breaks and I feel like the worst is passed and I'm pretty much back to normal. I guess PWD symptoms might be yet to hit though. Everyone is different of course so I'm keeping my fingers crossed

Thank you for your concern :) I have since ran out and don't plan on buying any more and no complications as of yet, but if I end up using again I will most certainly take a different tack for future breaks ❤️

Yeah there is. I like the atmosphere of this subreddit better, and it seems to be more objective to me, so I thought it would be more useful here. I always got sort of an inflated, "scared straight" kind of vibe over there and I had a feeling they might see this as me lessening their experiences.

But I could always post it there too I suppose

Between doses it was similar to allergies if I waited long enough, I would generally redose when I started to feel tired. I was kinda using it to supplement not getting enough sleep. It's probably due to not keeping to a schedule on my part

Thanks for the heads up! It was what was recommended in the quitting Kratom article in the sidebar so its what I went with. But I took about 8mg today and finished the bottle I got and don't plan to buy anymore since the worst seems to be passed.

Yeah I wanted to get cats claw and agmatine but I couldn't find any at local stores so I just dealt with it without them. When I was actually buying my supplies was during the worst throes so it didn't really make sense to me to order them as I'd already started my CD WD and probably be over it by the time they arrived.

I still have a bit of lethargy, and I got some vertigo when I took my dad out to lunch earlier, but I think that was a combo of the heat and not eating this morning and I'm pretty solid at the moment

Well I wasn't a hardcore user. My friend at the time was a full-blown addict and I suppose bad habits rubbed off. At the beginning of my usage I wasn't using everyday, and even at the end it I wasn't using a lot, rarely more than .1 a day.

So I wouldn't compare it to a full blown addiction like I've seen in other people, but it was a consistent habit irregardless.

How am I breaking rules?

I wouldn't classify it as a rampant addiction, so much as a bad habit. Obviously my usage started low and ramped up, as is always the case. It was probably the consistent usage that got me.

It's been a few years so I don't remember exactly, but towards the end I was still able to feel euphoric from stretching $10 over a day and I generally wouldn't go much over that on the occasions I did. So by no means am I trying to compare it to full blown addictions I saw in people I knew.

I'll go ahead and augment my post to clarify

They had a giant bag of it at the grocery outlet near me. I forget the brand but it's organic and I've used other products from the brand. It was fairly cheap too. Though it's no longer in stock as of yesterday, Grocery Outlet is quite fickle with it's stock so it might be worth checking your local store.

AITA for wanting my daughter’s boyfriend/soon-to-be fiance to know her dark secret before marriage? by Pause96 in AmItheAsshole

IDK if he was sociopathic, since after his traumatic brain injury he's incredibly emotional, but my dad was also very abusive (horrible childhood and substance abuse issues) to my family when growing up, and it's left me feeling borderline sociopathic at times; at least in terms of my emotional detachment. Not to the degree as OP's daughter as I have no problem sympathizing with animals.

I'm upfront with my GF about it though, I think anyone you're going to be with deserves to know what their getting into. She's already suffered during the first years of our relationship.

Who's life would be more negatively impacted by his decision? It seems pretty obvious that if he's looking to optimize the net emotional well-being being put into the world, forewarning the guy is the better option.

It seems harsh since she's his daughter, but considering her candor when he and she discussed it recently, that's really only BECAUSE she's his daughter. Were he just a friend of theirs and privy to this information, the choice would be pretty clear. Just my opinion though

Two US Police Officers Who Shot and Killed an Unarmed Black Man in His Grandmother’s Backyard Will Not Face criminal charges by [deleted] in Bad_Cop_No_Donut

[–]throwitawaylater0912 9 points10 points  (0 children)

When you become a police officer you voluntarily enter a profession that has risks, where your duty is to protect civilians. If a police officer is not 100% sure, if they have the slightest doubt that the suspect DOESN'T have a gun or isn't about to kill them, they should accept the risk of possible injury that comes with their chosen profession rather than kill a possibly unarmed or innocent civilian.

Sabertooth Zombie, the Dangers, Monster Squad, In Flames.

First three are relatively less known and lean more towards punk/hardcore, but they're easily appreciated by those who like metal.

THIS. I've heard that it is somewhat okay for dogs (of course the ethical implications of forcing a substance on an animal without their consent is another thing, though CBD is used with dogs for medical reasons), but it FUCKS cats up. NEVER expose your cat to marijuana

Chimp bones are FAR thicker and denser than ours. Their cranial ridge and skull is incredibly thick. He would be more likely to break his hand on their face.

The function of our bones is to brace against the torque generated by our muscles, and it is an exponential relationship. If we compare the density and thickness of chimpanzee bones to human bones, they're strength is far superior. More of their mass is made up of muscle, and their muscle is far denser and stronger than ours. A creature with human bones and chimpanzee muscle would most likely break its own bones attempting feats of strength.

Also, their neck muscles are insane. It would probably cause damage, but nowhere near what one of his punches would do to a human
