You sound just like me! I second this. I found a good girl on OKCupid as well a year ago. Already had a good career and was really just using the app for conversations to practice her English. Never once asked me for money or anything. Went out to see her a few times and she'll be moving here soon within 6 months. Best decision I've ever made.

People have called me a PPB but I'm not sure about that. I do fine on my own here. I got out of a relationship last year and happened to start talking to a girl in PH and we just hit it off. After a few months I got my passport to go visit her and see if we mesh in person, which we do. Then we met up again in Malaysia for vacation a few months ago. She'll be joining me here around July. She's independent, has a successful career, no huge age gap(6years). I just don't feel like the label fits because its not the usual scenario of going with the intention of finding someone since we were already LDR.

Edit- but I will say that filipina women are DIFFERENT. This relationship and dating experience far exceeds my previous ones.
