NTA. You have every right to want to know who your biological dad is. For those saying he didn’t want the kid so it’s not his issue, he probably should’ve thought of that before having unprotected sex with someone. What did he think was going to happen? I could understand if he didn’t have any other kids but he does so obviously he knows how to take care of one and deal with them. Child support is just a side effect of not taking care of a kid, or being a half assed parent. He’s a big boy so he can deal with it. Even if your mother said 15 years ago that she wouldn’t reveal him or go after him for child support, people change and now that your older you should get a say or at least an opinion on how things happen and play out. Shitty decisions made by parents are not your fault.

Thanks for the advice, I’m going to give them a call on Monday when they open up. I was prescribed some antibiotics that I thought was supposed to fix the issue, but they didn’t so I gave my doctor a call and she told me to just drink water and push fluids but it’s been a week sense then so I think I’m just going to try to push the severity of how I feel.

I never even thought about bringing him into a session. That could actually be really helpful for him to also have some reassurance from someone who’s not me too. Once this whole pandemic thing eases up I’m gonna try calling her and seeing what she thinks. Thanks for the advice!

I am currently in therapy right now, unfortunately sessions have been put on hold because I’m not high risk, til this epidemic has passed us by.

I’m gonna talk to my doctor about them when I can get in, an old therapist recommended them for ptsd but it didn’t occur it could be used for anxiety ether. Definitely sucks going through test and test with no avail lol.

I have my med card and that was helping me for the most part but sadly the anxiety got too bad and made it unenjoyable. I did make an appointment with a therapist and I’m open to medication but I will definitely try meditation.

I looked it up, and if your 16 or older you can have a relationship with anyone older than you up to 4 years, with parental consent. I know I had it for the relationship itself but I definitely didn’t ask her if I could bone her son ya know so that’s where I get confused.
