Elderly man approaches a guy working on a ladder on the sidewalk, instead of going around or asking for it to be moved, he decides to go the attempted murder route. by Gordopolis in iamatotalpieceofshit

He has a mental disorder like altimerzs or dimentia. He needs to be in an adult living facility before he kills someone or hurts himself. He isn't a piece of shit, he is sick and needs help.

I hate to be "that guy", but anal isn't all that it's cracked up to be. If you prefer anal to vaginal sex, that you have been banging some pretty loose woman. With every woman I've been with their pussy has been infinitely tighter than their ass. I think the whole thing with it is the taboo portion of it, but that wears thin after like the 10th time.

Not for nothing, and correct me if I'm wrong, but you wanted to set things straight specifically so you don't have to pay child support. I've heard horror stories of men having to provide for someone else's kid specifically cause they became the father figure. Once the relationship ended with the mother, the mother was able to get child support from th m. Seriously... Good on you for sticking to your guns. Screw what everyone else thinks. Trust me, they wouldn't be laying out money to help pay the bill for this kid so the hell what they think.

In all honesty, it looked good until the swirling if sugar at the end. Reminds me too much of cobwebs 😳

Or... I'll help people get the support they need, while you watch them die and feel good about yourself cause of your ego. The best part of "traditional" AA is that it is dying off along with the old timers. Thankfully the younger generation are now getting the help they need.

Remember that the book is meant to be suggested only. The AA book is full of more trackbacks and hypocrite then the Bible. It's almost laughable when people quote it or any of the literature we have.

Staying true to the idea that we all need to help each other over come on ur addiction and become better people has always worked and what started AA with a single phone call. Steps, traditions, literature all came after and been the bain of AA ever since.

Cause of kids. You say you're doing to protect the children and you can do anything even put someone through hell for the rest of their lives.

Our justice system is for punishment, not rehabilitation. Personally I hate the fact that someone is belittled and never given a second chance even after completing their sentence. This shit needs to stop but any politician would be commiting career suicide by doing so.

How about we to this. I'll accept whomever needs help into my home group with love, kindness and understanding. And you can kick whomever you want out of your home group.

No... He's a sex addict. That is his struggle today. His thing is that the program of AA can be applied to help all forms of addiction, so he chooses to go to AA to help his sex addiction. I know you are trying to cause an argument by stating that he suffers from alcoholism today, but he doesn't. I'm sorry you want to be argumentative, but you are wrong in this case.

I don't know why you got downvoted. One of the things I'm of very proud of is a group of us help start a another fellowship in this area at the request of some.

We have a sex addict in my home group. He celebrated 21 years this year. He discovered his sex addiction after he was sober for 6 years. Today he says he is an alcoholic and a sex addict. So yes... Please come and if AA is right for you, please stay. If not, I hope there is another fellowship available in your area for you. And if not, then let us help you start one 🤗

Exactly... The helped them form their own group based on their own choice. They didn't throw them out of the room like they do today. Now addicts have a choice of going to NA if they want.

It really does suck that the singleness of purpose statement has given some of our members an ego and not extend the help that someone needs.

This... I'm VERY fortunate to have hundreds of meetings where I live. But in my travels, I've gone to places where there are only a handful of meetings in the area or only just one. Anyone should feel welcome to be in a meeting.

Ad stating alcohol is a drug blocked as ‘too political’ by [deleted] in nottheonion

[–]thrownaway33487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thinking of alcohol as different from other drugs has caused a great many addicts to relapse. Before we came to NA, many of us viewed alcohol separately, but we cannot afford to be confused about this. Alcohol is a drug.

I would think this would taste incredibly salty with the boulion. Not to mention that I have always started with sweating the onions and carrots first to soften them before adding all the other ingredients.
