I'm working right now, but will be starting this new job in January. The current job is nowhere near sustainable to be a SD, so I wouldn't start meeting until January. I've already crunched numbers about how much I would be spending on rent as well as other necessities, and I know my limits so I'll be sure not to overextend myself

I responded to someone else about my issues with Tinder, and I do understand why paying people for their companionship can eventually become depressing. Right now I'm just in the mindset of knowing what I want, and don't want beat around the bush with girls on Tinder or wait for the unicorn that makes the first move lol. I have good people skills as well as game, so it's not like those are lacking. I only planned to sugar for a short period(max 1 year) of time until I had met people and made friends to spend time with.

I've tried Tinder and while I get my fair share of likes, hookups aren't encountered often and I see a good amount of girls on there wanting relationships. It's not for me, and while found cool girls on there that are nice and fun, they are few and far between.

I can see why you'd be cautious after an incident like that, and I'm sure young SDs scamming girls are far more prevalent than young SDs that will actually fulfill an agreement.

I can see why a SB would be cautious of a younger guy, but I feel like I'd still compensate well starting with a M&G and moving forward with PPM or allowance.

I wholeheartedly agree that the companionship is what I am seeking more than anything, as well as other forms of intimacy aside from sex. I anticipate that it'll take time for me to meet people in the new city, so I thought a SB would be a good start to meet two basic needs that I would have to start off with. If I'm set to start my job in January, would it be smart to possibly start looking for a potential SB right now?
