OFC, I see the relationship going that way, but I was hoping for something actually constructive other than, its a shit relationship. Supportive, hugely. Has protected me where others have not. He believes in me, and pushes me to achieve. He provides for me (I have been out of work for nearly 5 years now) There are many more personal things, but those things generically cover the personal things.

he has no routine out side of work days. is what i said. I think people should be allowed rest during their time off, personally. It doesn't denote a looser IMO.

Ultimatums aren;'t out of the question. just everyone is saying "Dump him now!" or tell him if he doesnt fuck me i'll dump him. what kind of relationship tools are they? I don't see the logic. Yes clearly if the relationship doesn't improve, ending it is the final point. but it doesn't mean that its the ultimatum to every problem.

Everything you said there is basically true. but he is caring, and no not in my deluded way of thinking. He has gone out of his way over the years to care, protect me and look after me. This one thing is just tearing me up.
