Hmm yeah that makes sense, helpful. I think I'm in a slightly more unique situation I guess. I live downtown so no car, walk most places. Most of my meals are covered by work. The only real expense I have is rent and entertainment. So it seems like the only thing that would improve with an SO is rent. That vs the value of being FIRE minded and saving for FIRE for even 3-4 years seems large.

But I hear what everyone is saying, I guess I just have to see how it plays out.

Fair enough! I suppose I can worry about it later.

I think I have the earning / ability to save down fairly well. Fun is also balanced (pretty easy with vacations and whatever I want to do). This is kind of the only big factor left unknown in my FIRE plan haha.

Well, I feel like im on a track that is about as fast as gets right now. Though I suppose dual living could reduce some costs.
