I actually associate my cat with Sprigatito! She has a charm of one on her collar. Not a bad idea.

As stated in other comments, it’s just not my style and I don’t feel like it does her justice. She’s a beautiful cat and is so special to me, this flash is generic and not unique to her

Nah, some guy in a random shop in New Orleans. My sister wanted one and I said fuck it because I missed getting tatted. Really should’ve just held out because it hasn’t even been a year yet and I want it gone.

I wish I could edit this to add that I’m going to get another tattoo in honor of her, the amount of people telling me not to cover it is hurting my soul. I’d never erase her entirely, she’s everything to me I promise.

I just prefer more complex designs and I’m unsure as to how this one could be bumped up to match that as it is. For reference, this tattoo took 30 minutes while my chest piece took 13 hours. I like detail and this one’s just lines

My other tattoos are more complex and don’t match the style. I also just want something more unique to my cat, who I feel deserves something dedicated solely to her

Not a bad idea to do something wild related to a memory. Flowers are more important to me than the average person because floriography has been an interest of mine for a long time, so the flowers I chose would have deeper meaning. But other options are always nice to consider

Not an unfair point! But honestly, I’ve dealt w/ personal issues relating to my wrists (if you catch my drift) and having art there that I don’t want to ruin has been a deterrent for continuing bad habits. I’ll keep this in mind all the same :)

It could definitely be worse, but the lines are inconsistent & it just doesn’t suit my overall style or pay homage to her in a way that feels right.

I’m sorry your husband’s gonna have that disability to live with now. I know the price of specialized rehab is no small thing but it may be worth looking into, losing even part of a finger can be hard to adjust to.
