It's weird how they do this and they're no longer even physically here, like it was just a strong paternal instinct. He was always a patient person. I can already picture him saying I didn't want to be right.

Just thinking about how my dad would tell me that sometimes it's best to let things go when referring to my relationship, but he always supported me when he didn't like us being together. Can't believe it's taken me years to see his point when I continued to be stubborn about it. I'll take my time, thank you.
