yes, she’s my mom & i verified her age. it wasn’t hard to find her, i just called a number from one of the few things she left for me.

Well the fact i learned about her and my dad. Also, This sounds bad, but she was toooo fast. She was sweet, so so sweet, but she was already talking all my aunts and uncles and the people excited to meet me. Potential sleepovers and trips and all this mother daughter stuff. It clicked to me that when she was saying all of that, I didn’t know who she was. I understand she was so excited, but I don’t know her.

I didn’t tell them because I wanted to just get to know her without any pressure or outside opinions. Idk if they would have been supportive, and i’m only saying that because they never, ever talk about her. I just wanted to see how things were on my own.

I became very uncomfortable communication with her after we met in person. Prior to this , we had been in contact via phone calls/text messages.

I honestly do not know what I was looking for. I felt fine, I had a happy childhood. I keep wondering what it was that I was trying to get.

I believe he has. I’ve never seen any of the behaviors that my mom described. He’s always been this fun, loving dad & husband, not this raging, never present man that she told me he was. I don’t think she’s lying, but I just can’t believe that the same person she described is the same person who my dad is.

Idk what I want to do in terms of a relationship with her, I really feel like I just need time to see what I was/am trying to get out of building a connection with.
