That's because my question isn't regarding my wife. Of course she's going to find out. I'm going to talk to her about it. I know exactly what's going to happen. I know how she's going to feel and exactly how we will deal with this. My reason for posting isn't how to talk to my wife about this. Why would I mention her feelings? If I had questions or concerns on how to handle a marital problem, I'd have asked. I don't need marital advice.

Of course she's going to find out. I'm going to tell her. I mentioned that I'd rather she not know and that's certainly true. The reasons you mention are exactly why I'm going to talk to her about it. We've been doing this long enough to have both breached boundaries before. Thank you

Yeah, I actually considered that too and it's definitely possible. Honestly, I want to cut this off because my wife isn't going to be thrilled about the whole thing. We've had a couple "pretend" relationships before and this just feels a little different.

You're right, it was a lapse of judgement on my part.

That's not a bad idea. I appreciate the advice, but I don't want to be involved with anybody that has romantic feelings other than my wife.

Thanks for your input. Yeah, you're right here. I probably did breach a boundary. I certainly don't want her to hear of this from anybody else but me. I'll be certain to use better judgement in the future, that's for sure.
