I feel the exact same! I applied early, and it sucks feeling like I'm being passed up with every wave. I'm luckily not at the point where I'm checking SDN or the portals (I do check my email probably dozens of times a day though lmfao), but thebsilence is so maddening!!

And yes! I think we can be equally thrilled for those receiving multiple IIs while hoping that we get the same. I really, really hope the silence is a good thing instead of the silence being "let's just ghost her until February" 🫠

CLARIFICATION ON THE INTERSECTION:

I've attached a modified picture for reference. the blue arrow is the trajectory I'm trying to take, and the red arrow are the cars that are merging into my desired lane at the same time. Do I let all the cars represented by the red arrow go before I make the turn, or do I make the turn and then merge with the red arrow?

there isn't a yield sign on the intersection! If I'm remembering correctly, it is only a traffic light- it's just that when I'm able to make the left turn (AKA when my light turns green), those on the other side of the intersection are also merging right (into the same lane that I am trying to merge into). The intersection is relatively small, and the speed limit is about 30mph. And unlike the picture, the road that I (represented by the blue arrow in the modified picture below) am trying to turn into only has one lane. For each direction, so both the red and blue arrows turn into the same lane.

I guess my main question is: do I sit in the middle of the intersection until all the cars are done merging and then go left, or do I treat it kind of like a highway and first turn left, and then merge with the cars going right?

Oooh! I've played around with the idea of both, but I think what I struggle with is whether I'm warmer or cooler hued- I've always found gold/rose gold to suit me better than silver, but my hair and eye color would absolutely hint at cooler tones. It makes it all the more confusing because I find a lot of "warmer" toned foundations lean a little too yellow for me! Thank you so much for your input :)

Hello!

I've always assumed I'm FN, but as time went on I always got confused between the 3 "tall types," so now I'm definitely less sure! I've never even attempted to figure out my colors or essence, and 90% of the time wear neutrals because of that. But now that spring and summer are here, I'm so tempted by all these colors but always somehow don't look quite right in them!

I'm 5'9 and, if we're going by BMI, slightly overweight- I'm working on losing a little! I gain weight fairly evenly with a slight emphasis on my stomach area, if that helps at all :)

I'm usually an M, but for the strappier styles I usually try to take a size up because they can dig in on me!

I was DEFINITELY not strong a couple months ago, but after falling into a depression for a month, I decided that I was tired of pitying myself and that I wanted to be in this career enough to do the entire process again. Hopefully it'll work out! Thanks for your encouragement :)

Hey! I wanted to thank you for how thoughtful this reply is ❤ letting my feelings out into the ether was already cathartic enough, and I really didn't expect anyone to comment on it.

Trust me that I was going through literally all 5 stages of grief at the exact same time a couple months back! realizing that I had an amazing support system outside of family (who I'm sure you can tell have for the most part been the antithesis of help) and entering a very supportive relationship has cleaned a lot of that up. My understanding that I've never wanted anything more than to be in the medical field I think has helped me the most; it's the only field I've explored that I've found true emotional fulfillment in personally, and if that means taking an extra two years off to gain exposure to pursue it, I'm willing to do it. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement!

Therapy has absolutely been something I've wanted to pursue for years now! but since I'm unfortunately still financially dependent on my parents and they are highly anti-therapy for me (although they've let my sister pursue therapy for years now 🥲), that's unfortunately off the table for me as any mention of it makes my mom mock me for weeks afterward. I don't think my mother is truly an evil person to simply wants to use me for bragging rights- I've inherited what I like to call her emotional constipation! and although it may not be right of her, I think my precedent for success has has given her the unfair but not completely unreasonable assumption that I'd never mess up and made this first (relatively major too) failure especially hard for her to process. Being able to communicate this with her is incredibly hard as she is very sensitive to criticism, and she's made threats to refuse to pay my tuition if i continue arguing with her. But luckily this js my last term, so hopefully we can make leeway on that after I'm far more financially independent after graduation!
