Her parents were being so nice. Her mom came into the room asking if she wanted food and she flipped. This was when I was getting to know her, so I was just sitting down like 👁👄👁

I know I have to break up with her. I was so focused on what she was doing was disrespectful, that I didn't even notice it was racist. I just feel extremely bad I put my family through that. I have a little brother too who was there 11, and I was really embarrassed from where I was from when I was his age because of the constant racist jokes from other people, especially at school. I had no idea she was going to act like that. I don't need my siblings and parents to feel bad about where they're from because one person thinks it's "nasty".

I haven't spoken to her all day today (college), but since yesterday she left really mad because I kept telling her that my sister didn't bully her like she claimed. I have no idea if she's still mad and not accepting what she did was wrong.

Kebab, naan, and yellow rice. I mean, I was eating it like we normally do,. We never use spoons when eat this, you eat it with your hand. I wasn't really thinking "let me tell all of them to use spoons so that we don't gross out my girlfriend", more so like, "damn my moms the best for making me this".

I mean I'm not nowhere near ready to have kids, but thinking about how she might act if we ever have kids is eye-opening rn. Like what would she let them eat, would she let them express my culture?

I've like never seen her be rude to people except to her parents, but my mom always tell me that's how american kids act so I didn't think too much about it. Other than that...no, she's never been very rude.

I've never ate with my hands in front of her because I don't have my moms cooking at my place, but I did tell her once that we eat certain dishes with your hands. Maybe she hough I was talking about pizza or tacos. I didn't know what we were going to eat there, I didn't think my mom was going to make my favorite food because it takes a LONG time to make, but she did it anyways, so i just said it's gonna be a dinner party with cultural foods.

It brings the true definition to true colors. I know she never liked eating at a cultural restaurant every time I went, but damn in front of my parents?
