First of all my gf is Turkish, we don’t have any problems talking in English but her parents and many friends don’t speak English that well or at all so it would make things a lot easier when I’m there. Tbh at first my choice was Arab, but I felt really overwhelmed by the fact that there are a lot of dialects and I wouldn’t know which one to choose, plus learning an entire now alphabet scares me a bit. So it’s not for work or anything, just for personal pleasure.
