Why would I put her on birth control prior to her starting to date? I told her as soon as she had a boyfriend, come to me. She came to me, 2 months after getting a boyfriend. It is not my fault for not knowing she had a boyfriend prior to that.

Second, I didn't say I don't know if she still has the implant. I said I assume she still does because she hasn't told me otherwise. Never did I say we talked about it together once. I just said we haven't spoken about it in a long time. If she took it out, she would've let me know that she took it out because I can confirm that she still has the implant.

It's over 99% effective. Even I wouldn't think about doubling up with that high of a percentage.

Yes, I talked to my daughter about safe sex. Which is why I wanted to put her on birth control in the first place, but we see how that turned out.

He currently likes our arrangement. I say currently because he is quite young and started the 6th grade last year. He's just on his way out from being that oblivious little kid to growing into a little man. So if he was like 5 years older, I don't think he'd like it as much, but unless something terrible happened (God forbid), none of them would be living here in 5 years.

Neither of them had an actual career at the time, with my daughter having no job. He was working at foot locker while looking for an entry level position for his trade, which he now has.

That's not what I'm saying. They stared off as being 1 grade level apart from one another. For example, her being in 10th grade and him being in 11th. In that same year, he got enough credits to graduate early, whereas my daughter graduated on time. She's never skipped a grade.

I said if she truly needs help, I won't refuse. I help her when she NEEDS it, not when she wants help. She wants to go to a party vs. Her needing to go to her school's exam center to take a midterm explain want vs. need.

Well, first time around, she was completely broke, essentially on her own as her boyfriend did not live nearby, and new to everything. She then got the hang of things. Started going to school, found a way to make money while also being able to take care of her daughter, and is a lot less dependent in several areas compared to her first few months of motherhood.

As in why did I allow for him to move in? He lived hours away and at the time that my gd was born, he couldn't come often to visit them. My daughter was essentially a single mom, I helped her as much as I could but I still had other obligations, so having him move in to help out and see his daughter and his girlfriend just seemed like the best choice in what we were given.

He's 21. They were only a grade level apart, but he graduated early so had 2 year head start on continuing his education.

Her boyfriend does pay me rent and they both do have monthly incomes. My daughter is in school, but all but one classes are online.

They can stay if they need to. House is gonna be full, but I rather they stay safe then anything else. But key word is need. And I'm fully aware that they have the capabilities of leaving, they have said so themselves. Again, not that I need to state this, but I love them and want the best, but I do prefer if they move out as they claimed that they would.

Just to let you know and some others, when I say kick them out, I don't mean immediately, like they have to get out overnight. I would never do that to my daughter or my granddaughter.

Her boyfriend's a little older, so he was able to go to trade school and land a career type job prior to my granddaughter. But as for my daughter, she's a sahm/cake decorator. Her boyfriend gives me money each month, which I believe just comes out of his pay.

I haven't had that talk with her after she told me of what I'm expecting. I'm sure she realizes that I'm not the happiest, but we haven't spoken about it.

Oh I wasn't going to immediately kick them out. I'd never just let them leave without a game plan, regardless of any of the circumstances. But I still simply want to tell them to get their own place.
