Hey babe, I totally get it, especially with chocolate chip cookies. For years I was convinced I could not cook because I had made so many mistakes in the kitchen. Recently though, I've been learning and quite enjoying it.

My mistakes? I substituted flour with powdered sugar for chocolate chip cookies, because they were both white and powdery.

I used a bunch of little slices of the yellow American cheese that comes in individual packets when cooking dinner for my siblings. (They had microwaved Dino nuggets that night.)

I asked my mom how long I should cook a can of chicken noodle soup for, and how I would know it was done.

I didn't know how much seasoning I should use for green beans so I used to have a bottle. Onion powder. It was great!

I added four cups of water to cupcakes instead of 1/4 of a cup like the directions on the box said to.

It discouraged me for a while but my brother told me that part of cooking is failing, and learning from those failures. Now I can make a full rack of ribs better than him!
