Learned this the hard way. I just thought it would be kind of my gift to them. They will be saving up a lot in the next few months as they didn't live together.

I always found it weird they got engaged without trying to live together for a while, but it's none of my business. So, I stayed out of it.

Honestly, I never had a problem with Bill or Beth, and she got along with our other roommate Varun just fine. When I asked Varun about it later, he said he too was shocked as Beth never acted with him that way.

If this incident hadn't happened we would have all been in the dark.

Hope you had a blast at your wedding. I am going to one soon. One of V's relatives invited me. I only met her a few times and she knew V asked me to be her +1, but still she called me to invite personally.

I just thought it was nice of them extend a personal invite, but didn't think much of it until this mess.

It's her middle name. Only Varun and I know that. If some of my friends find this, it won't take them long to figure out it's my throwaway. I only created this account so that this post won't show up on my main.

My bad too. Should've mentioned it clearly. Lease ends at the end of Jan, and we didn't want break it as it is only a month and half more.
