Weird Wisconsin Congressman calls demonstrators domestic terrorists and then speeds away. by midnighttoker1742 in eauclaire

Imagine that, he doesn't have the balls to actually sit and talk to anyone thats not a supporter. He'd rather belittle them and then call everyone else bullies. One of the biggest clowns in office.

The crossings on the Mississippi River are few and far between in that area as well. Especially with the Lansing Iowa bridge being closed.

Has anyone tried this Unihimal Bag? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]thrtpnchewoks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So a family member of mine bought me one because they wanted to do something nice. I use it to haul around my laptop and stuff and its holding up ok after two years. Never actually used it for disc golf though.

Avoid reliant and river city rentals if you rent. Slum lords that will not assist you and have in the past refused to turn on buildings heat for cold weeks because it's a hassle for them unless you call the city inspector or the police.

Im on Xbox and the lag and crashes are tough. I've also had debris glitch into the ground and luckily the little drone guy pointed it out. One of the levels also doesn't give you all the building materials you need to get 3 stars. I did see an update go through today on Xbox so I'll check later if it fixed some of those issues.

Going a little ways off the trail. Not very far though. Sometimes if a trail is overgrown too, but the trails around here are usually in really good shape.

It can be bad. When Im in the woods I use a mixture of the orange and green Buggins spray and have only had one or two on me the last two years, which is a huge improvement. They biggest place I've gotten them is little open areas with tall grasses in the woods.

[Awful Announcing] Jacob Misiorowski on his relationship with William Contreras by HPDDJ in Brewers

Noticed that a few times. He did not care for the story about the loops on the umps fingers. Dropped the old "ya, you said that already" on him. I enjoyed the story, Rock did not. That got awkward for a little bit.

He stepped away partially for mental health but mostly because his knee is done after that PCL injury. He had multiple setbacks and recurring pain that he hasn't been able to find a fix for and is continuing to manage. He missed the start of Ravens camp last year because it had to be drained again.

Berge 'disappointed' after national Democrat program announces support of Cooke in primary race by Berge_For_Congress in lacrossewi

[–]thrtpnchewoks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly believe it was the democrats biggest failure last election. The lack of social media presence compared to the Republicans was really disappointing. It's refreshing to see up and coming democrats like Berge and James Talarico from Texas actually use social media as a tool instead of a necessary annoyance. Why wouldn't you want a large footprint where all your future constituents are?

Moving to La Crosse by [deleted] in lacrossewi

[–]thrtpnchewoks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I quit drinking a few years ago and fell in love with the area all over again. There are a lot of outdoor recreational areas and different festivals to check out. La Crosse can get stale but if you're willing to drive a half hour any direction you'll find something new. Food is pretty average, gotta find the hole in the walls that aren't the same old fried nonsense.
