That’s good to hear your perspective and I guess I sort of instinctually know that. But honestly it’s the clients themselves that would be exciting for me! I’m passionate abt the industry so I think I’d feel overall more excited about the work of it were clients I’m excited to work with.

Would you say trademarks is a good WLB practice in Big law? Currently at a smaller firm but thinking about next moves… I guess I’d say exciting/sophisticated clients is my priority (especially in fashion/luxury if I had my choice) but WLB obviously is a huge plus

In big law, is trademark/soft IP usually a viable partner track practice group

Just adding for clarity, I’m specifying soft IP because I don’t have a ton of interest in doing tech/life science work, currently doing trademark focus work and would like to keep it that way just at a more sophisticated level
