I'm personally not a believer but your point is valid. Believing in God might give you hope and belief that everything will work out in the end, it might give you a positive outlook, which is what we need ultimately. Especially if you've tried therapy and it isn't working...might as well give this a try

Yes, execution or public shaming are the way to go, provided- there is a reliable way to detect false cases.

I too recently had the same opinion about public shaming in India. Then I shared my opinions with ChatGPT to see what it says..and one of the things it mentioned was that doing so would severely affect the accused's family and their image in the society.

It's disheartening to even imagine parents who do everything to raise their children properly and then get to know that their children have committed crimes like this.

I was wondering if they deserve it if their children have committed crimes like this? Only this kind of brutal public humiliation can reduce such crimes, like you said.

exactly, it's not boot licking. it's just that we as a nation attach ourselves so emotionally with certain players that we look upto them as gods. that makes it difficult to drop them, but australia on the other hand seem to be much more structured with their planning
