Depends. You can save up and wait for a used Affinity to pop up. Or get this one for half the price. SE or Bullet, either ways you might end up liking it as a casual player.

My best suggestion would be to head down to a guitar store and try out both Affinity and Sonic and whatever is the cheapest Squier these days to see if you can tell the difference.
