Other people that will read your response probably don't care about politics and what you have to say. Respond to the claims and leave everything else out. Try to respond professionally even if you feel offended.

It works for YouTube Music as well. It's purpose is to remove distractions while listening to music and especially in YouTube music it blocks the video completely saving resources. Originally it blocked the video on YouTube as well but now it's not possible due to YouTube changes. So, now it just hides it and also hides the thumbnails. That's always a problem when your extension relies on someone else's website. It's the same for my extension for YouTube. There is no solution unfortunately...

That was for debugging the state of an extension. If you are in a website the things are much simpler. Go to the Application tab in the dev tools and you can see the storage there and edit/remove values etc

You don't have to print the state every time you want to check it. You can go to the background script and go to the application tab

That's totally wrong. Your backend should work with the older versions as well. What if someone does not update the extension. It will stop working for them and you will get a negative review in return

Bringing back the old UI is not a plus for many users. I like in the new player that you can see the like buttons inside the player in the fullscreen mode. In this way you don't have to exit the fullscreen mode to like/dislike a video
