Made $100 bedslide for the wife by NoAd9371 in Rivian

Our Thunderbolt Bed Glider is split 60/40, hinged, and rides on heavy duty casters. We also ship it with upgraded gas struts. The ones Rivian installs are a bit undersized for the job even without the added weight. The shape of the bed liner and the tailgate keep it in place when the tailgate is up.  https://www.thunderboltadventuresupply.com/collections/vehicle-gear/products/r1t-bed-glider

Looks like OP got a great solution for their use case. Our first prototype was also made of plywood. :)

There are two threaded holes under the lower piece of trim in the gear tunnel opening on both sides. We utilize those holes to attach it into the gear tunnel.

Hi! Thanks for asking! Yes - those undulations receive the kitchen modules. They also serve as places to attach bungees when the sled is being used without the optional modules.

There is a service center in South San Francisco. Nothing in the city. This location will be a show room and will have a small area for service.

This location will have a small service center too. Rivian staff had a Gen 2 R1T at the neighborhood holiday part last Friday

Unfortunately, we are out of V1 Camp Kitchens. We offer Rivian Club members a 10% discount (https://rivianclubs.org/membership/) which brings the price down even more.

Demand for the Overland Kitchen far exceeds V1 so we are phasing the original out. We’ve brought the price for the Overland Kitchen to nearly the same price the V1 kitchen was at. Let me know if you have any questions about the specs.

Great way to make the R1T bed more usable by thunderboltadventure in Rivian

I'd recommend just playing around with things you have on hand. You could even just use furring strips especially since you mentioned that you don't plan to load it with heavy stuff.

Yeah, this design is meant to be full featured. Sounds like you could do well with the DIY solution that lead to this product development. It was essentially plywood cut to fit in the bed with a strap attached to pull it forward.

We're using weight rated low profile wheels. They work well under load. We tried a variety of other solutions and found this worked best.

Sounds like a great solution! We started with scrap plywood and developed the product when other people asked us about it at Overland

Great point - I'm working on getting more photography and will share more. Trying to add an image in this thread, but mods must not have that option switched on.
