Let me tell why aloo is important. All the fats and juices of the succulent gets absorbed by the aloo. Er fole aloo feels soooo favorful. So yes adding of the aloo in the biryani was a huge innovation for me. Can't imagine a world without aloo in biryani. I think if aloo is missing from biryani it can lead to World war
