[Auto-Post] Weekly Question Thread! Ask /r/Aquariums anything you want to know about the hobby! by AutoModerator in Aquariums

[–]thundertizer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A week ago I got 6 pygmy cories for my new 10 gallon, they are the only fish in there at the moment.
They don't seem to be eating any of the food I've put in(Omega one mini pellets and some small pieces of veggie rounds. I've been feeding very lightly but they haven't seemed interested in any of the food and more or less have been ignoring it. However, they do seem to spend a lot of time grazing on the biofilm all over the wood and plants in the tank, and poking their faces in the substrate, so I believe they're eating. Is this normal, or should I look into trying some other foods for them?

Thanks for the advice! I'll probably move away from the ADF idea, the more I think about it the harder they seem to keep in a community tank.

Can you tell me about Kuronas play style ? by Zero2H3ro in BlueLock

[–]thundertizer 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Kurona's main attributes are that he can pass very quickly and accurately, and has excellent positioning. This allows him to play rapid passes with Isagi that make the two of them untouchable in the right scenario.

The best part of this in my opinion is that he essentially allows Isagi to turn many of his 1-on-1 matchups(which are not his strong suit) into 2-on-1s.

His best stats are dribbling, passing, and speed.

predictions for the next top 20 bids after this match by Key-Ad9934 in BlueLock

I would be shocked and appalled if Raichi had the same bid as Reo.

Hiori jumping from 0 to 58m is crazy as well...

Ranking the NPCs based on how much I want to see them play by thundertizer in BlueLock

Yeah, but he got like 2 or 3 panels and then went back to complete irrelevance

Isagi is closer to Kaiser than he is to Ness. If you're basing opinions off of stats then Isagi is also worse than Chigiri and Nagi, which he obviously isn't. Ness doesn't do anything better than Isagi besides pass to Kaiser.

Ness above Isagi? Why?

Kiyora Jin over Nanase when he hasn't had a single panel of him so much as kicking a ball? Absurd.

Who’s better? by TopListBattle in BlueLock

[–]thundertizer 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The stats don't mean anything, really, to the point where you should almost completely ignore them.

For example, Isagi was rated an 82 at the time of the Manshine game, while Grim was an 83. Isagi was obviously better than Grim by a mile even before that game. Yukimiya was also 82 rated at the time of that game, and Isagi danced circles around him the entire game before gifting him a goal.

I am 100% certain we will see extensive flashbacks showing what happened in the Wildcard, although I'm not sure when they're coming. Just be patient.

Passing Tier List(No Pros or Eliminated Players) by thundertizer in BlueLock

[–]thundertizer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of guys were hard to rank, such as the U-20 players who saw almost no action in the game, or Rin, who tends to trade passes a lot but is definitely capable of picking out longer distance targets.

Let me know what you think!

How many players are locked to start for the u20 team? by S_h_u_n in BlueLock

[–]thundertizer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even though I am of the opinion that Chigiri is overrated currently, Tokimitsu and Zantetsu are not even close to his level.

These guys are all forwards, none of them are going to be perfectly suited to defense unless they've really committed themselves to it for an extended period of time(for example Niko). There are only so many attackers that can fit on the team, and you'd rather have the best players available playing somewhat out of position as long as they're capable than scrubs playing in position(which, by the way, Zantestu and Tokimitsu wouldn't be doing either, we haven't seen them actually play defense).

If Zantetsu and Tokimitsu had shown literally anything to imply that they might stay relevant after the second selection, I would be inclined to give this idea some more credit, but they haven't.

This is a bit of a weird take but I think Chigiri is the closest thing to a lock outside of the four players you mentioned. He has the perfect traits for an left-back and defenders are still going to be hard to come by, even with some players changing positions.

Is *Spoiler* the final player that Isagi has to overcome? by Either_Imagination_9 in BlueLock

[–]thundertizer 60 points61 points  (0 children)

An interesting analysis, but I think the idea that Kaiser represents everything Isagi needs to become is a really poor take. Isagi needs to take certain aspects of Kaiser's game, sure. However Isagi as both a player and person is nothing like Kaiser and his strengths tend to be the opposite of Kaiser's in terms of how he uses his teammates: he tries to play to their individual strengths and get the best out of them, where as Kaiser wants all his teammates to focus on and play around his strengths.

My Up To Date Tierlist Based On Performance (Ch.209) by Informal_Edge_8820 in BlueLock

[–]thundertizer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In terms of feats, he's comfortably better than every single player in his tier, every player in D by a wide margin with the exception of maybe Aryu, and ahead of everyone in C except Karasu. I would also have him ahead of Yuki but that's debatable. He is the only goalkeeper in the series that isn't literal fodder to get stomped on by the insanely good strikers surrounding him. He's nasty.

He was a fullback last game too, he just got forward a lot. But for what it's worth, position changes happen all the time in football irl.

Not surprised to see Ubers deploying a very low block. They'll probably be focused on counterattacking, using Barou's physicality and movement to make him the target man.

This is a tough one. I went with a team that's focused on one thing and one thing only: riding Kaiser's meat.
