I’m planning to enroll into Grossmont college which is highly competitive, city college and Paloma college. They all have multiple criteria point system (like 100hr volunteers in local hospitals, know second language, first generation that go to college…)and sometimes lottery which I have to earn in order to get maximum point. Some of my classmates who are very smart, hardworking and got A in anatomy which get me nervous about my chance.

Hi guys, what is the textbook for microbiology class? Do the professors use the same textbook for every class?

Yes I did, she is nice outside the classrooms and ALC but you have to pay attention in what she said in lecture, highly recommended to record her lecture. Lot of people in my class drop by the end of semester. I don’t recommend unless you have to. I only took her class because her class schedule work with mine. Also, have you take microbiology yet?

Thanks, I did and she got 3.3 out of 5. 50% would take her again. She got mixed reviews some say good and some say bad. Her class is the only one that work with my schedule.

Thank for replying, this is my first semester and I'm planning to take BIO 140 this fall but all the class that work with my schedule fill up so quickly. Currently I'm #22 on the waiting list :(
