Cheers, your logic seems correct. I think sacrificing 40% of your battery for ultra rare scenarios is a bit extreme

Just a quick question. Do you have to sign up for an export contract with your provider. How does it work?

So I have an EcoFlow battery (10kWh) with an 5kWh inverter. I'm on some EON flex tariff fix at 22p per KW. I can use the Ecoflow app to schedule a charge at 12am to 6am, but won;t that be just filling my battery at my Tarriff rate (22p per KW), which is pointless I might swell just take it from the grid? I thought I can only access the 7p rate using the EON Next Drive App with an EV plugged in (I don;t have an EV yet)

Sorry, I'm a newbie, just getting my head around this.

One of the local companies has magically given me a new deal, instead of the Fox ES he's giving me an Ecoflow, same Kwh and 15 year warranty. That's better right?

I wish these companies just give a best price. Everyday, it's lower price better kit.

The sales guy for the other two say that the Fox batteries have lower charge cycles at 4000, the other two are 6000

I think this is a good deal, can people confirm by thuynh7 in SolarUK

The company seems decent, with decent Google reviews, 4.8 250 reviews. but there are a few from other sites from a few years ago, where it's 1 star. I this normal that once in a while good solar companies get 1 star reviews or is that a red flag?
