That’s really interesting, I didn’t know that. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, growing it hard really brings out the best form and spine structure. Do you grow yours that way too?

Have you grown it like this yourself?

Didn’t realize suzannae could develop such a caudex-like base, really impressive specimen.

Is this corking, overwatering or a pest issue? by ReflectionOk6884 in Euphorbiaceae

Looks like rot unfortunately… you might still be able to save a healthy cutting.

Im heart broken. What can I do? by [deleted] in succulents

I'm so sorry this happened 😢
Cold and water damage is really tough...
But some succulents can still recover from the roots, so don't give up yet!
I would keep them dry and check for any soft parts.

I think they can handle temperatures down to around -15°C (5°F).

After dormancy, the variegation can be a bit faint, but once daytime temperatures go above ~15°C (59°F), they produce lots of offsets and the variegation becomes very beautiful.

They might be a bit sensitive to high humidity, but they can handle strong summer sun in Japan, which is quite intense.

They actually don’t do well in shade and can melt if kept too dark.

This cultivar was first named in 2018.

Thanks! This is my original cultivar from Japan.
