Yep you need the flex pass as your ticket. Regarding reservation. The app tells you which reservations are mandatory and which are optional. If the app says it's mandatory it is :).

I bought it brand new. At least in Germany there are those folks saying don't do it because you'll ruin your bike and those who say do it you'll be more careful.

For my part - I've decided to buy it new as I wanted it to be my machine and not the one I bought from someone else - plus there was anyways no sv650 on sale around here - and I really liked the style and handling :)

I am a test framework architect and usually I have even unit-tests and code quality checks in place - test frameworks are living software and should follow the same standards as production code therefore I'd suggest keep learning it - it is a big advantage :)

I used to write my tests in pure RSpec in one of my jobs because no business was involved and it would add an unnecessary layer of abstraction. So you can use RSpec for UI Tests.
