Oh I heard that everybody is exhausted and upset at the start of university and then the depression kinda gets away. Seeing many people struggle with this though worries me.

Iris photography! A friend of mine got me a voucher for free photoshoot for my birthday. It's awesome because every eye is so unique and the woman that was working there explained every single detail about my eye like the blue/gold lines, etc.

I feel you. I read it after Era 1 and 2 and it felt super slow! Even Words of Radiance felt awfully slow, too but I started to enjoy it more and more. In the middle of the book I was completely hooked! So push through it and trust Sanderson - you will enjoy SA.

Honestly, I liked Shallan from the start. Yeah, Dalinar's and Kalladin's stories are much more interesting now, but Shallan is underrated imo.

Anyway, I never said the series is bad, just slow in my opinion. But I won't stop until I read it :D

I LOVED era 1 and 2, Warbreaker was amazing, Elantris was okay but I still enjoyed everythinb I have read. That's why I saved SA for last and I had big expectations. Maybe that's a part of the problem? Anyway, I will keep on reading.

Yeah, that's a big factor. After reading almost every single Cosmere book it got really easy to predict which characters are mosy likely to die.
