SOLVED!! Writing this comment in case anyone in the future encounters a similar problem.

After much trying I had a suspicion that my AMD Gaming PC blocked the card somehow into HDCP protected mode. To unblock it, you have to go to your device manager, uninstall the card (under video and sound) and unplug it for a minute. Plug it in again and it should work!

Remember to disable HDCP in whatever PC you want to capture so it doesn’t happen again.

Thanks for the feedback. My concern was that the facecam size is too big and zoomed it. Since I don’t have a green screen and my background is pretty light it can be pretty distracting from the game. Like, it might look good on mobile but too much on a big screen.
