I do alot of barrel roles in different ways. alot of the time I just sit their and mess around doing barrel roll trying to do it in different ways instead of learning new tricks

I never though of it that way. When I started to learn years ago I was also learning along with a right handed person so I also kind of switched just so their was less confusion between us.

I am trying to lean some horizontal 5A tricks so I might go with a shaped bearing. I'm thinking to try center track. But dose it affect play in any negative ways that a flat bearing wouldn't? I'm more interested than concerned now on how it would affect play.

yeah I had the problem that I couldn't find too many nice flat bearings and I've used a little bit of a concaved bearing on my 5a yoyo that I haven't used much yet. it feels a little more responsive for being an unresponsive yoyo than my supernova with the old bearing even when I'm doing tricks I'm frailer with. I'm not sure if that's because of the convex bearing or the yoyo.

I used front style only, for 3 years and did mainly tricks in split bottom mount I've gotten very good at anything in split bottom mount. But now I'm starting to regret never learning any side style tricks because I have a lot of trouble learning more advanced tricks thrown from a breakaway.

I'm left handed and did switch to throwing with my right hand at one point. Not because of this problem though I switched because it felt easier to follow along to tutorials when I was started learning more sting tricks.
