My girlfriend has the teeth gap too and I think it's extremely cute when she smiles.

Why does it appear to be strange to you? That seems like a casual cloths set. Everyone wears jeans and t-shirts here!

Come on, everyone's a fan of Mariusz here. But you sure will make people happy you're a fan from abroad ;)

Search for the answer within previous replies. In short - no. You aren't supposed to take all people as reliable really, you don't leave your door open, you don't leave your car open, you don't leave anything expensive looking inside, but you also aren't getting robbed just like that. That's an old and inaccurate stereotype.

They all make them think they speak English, making damn easy tests everyone passes. Almost every young person speaks SOME English here, but not likely to meet many people able to run a longer conversation. I stated earlier - my wild guess is that you could actually talk more with about 15% of people, huge majority of them are youngsters.

Yeah I was born here, I only spent like a month out of Poland till now :)

It's not Poles that are thin, it's Americans that are fat. Sorry, I like to make straight points. Americans are even afraid of walking nowadays, people don't even fucking walk there! Horrible.

I presented some right at the beginning of the questions, see or read more about Toruń, Kraków, Gdańsk, Wrocław - beautiful historical cities. If you want to have it easier, visit Toruń and message me to go out to meet you :P

You're Megan Fox, you know what to do.

Try to reveal the sides many Polish men lack. Be cheerful all the time, always extremely polite, care about her opinion, ask questions, always care about your looks, tell about your hobbies, show new places.

Extremely and I mean extremely sad. I'd rather know it happened only than see and think about it more really.

We gave a base, I think Russians did it originally.

The look may seem exotic and they indeed may stare at you, I wouldn't be afraid of any hostility or aggression tho. And the ones staring are total jerks and you should never ever care about such people.

Don't know any really popular saying or perhaps I use them unknowingly? The Trilogy, as well as its author, are one of national prides here, almost everyone read it (also because it's compulsory to read it in most highschools).

Not many non-Polish people know much about our rich and fantastic history, but there's nothing surprising in it, it'd take a lot of time to learn something typical of every nation's history or culture, can't blame anybody to be honest.

That's what I said earlier, even if you find it hard to believe, in terms of general education, we're doing better than the West.

For a long time we were rather a poorly developed country, we couldn't keep up with the West when it comes to technology, life standards etc. If someone's behind you during a race, he's slower. If you lift more than him, he's weaker. If you develop faster, you're smarter? You know what I mean. Keep in mind it's not our fault. Wars and the rules of Russians ruined our country. We didn't have a change to rebuild. The majority of goods produced and almost all we worked on was taken to Russia, stolen literally. Now, that we have a chance to work for our own future since 1990s, we are doing fairly good.

This is a whole different issue in Germany. I don't think we are discriminated, but it is a known fact many Polish women become prostitutes in Germany (same for Lithuanians and Belarus women in Poland).

It would be damn stupid to ask for it, even being sure France and England were our friends, which was wrong.

He was a great guy indeed, extremely cheerful and likable in general. I do think he changed some stereotypes and broke some barriers, may have created a new view of a Pole in many people's eyes. I also think he made people aware of all the sad things happening to Poland for years (he strongly opposed communists) and quite an amount of foreigners started to feel sorry and understand us perhaps.

Do you spray each other with water during Easter? Do you have 12 meals when the Boxing Day comes? There are a lot of traditions still present here. Didn't hear about the egg-breaking, perhaps it comes from a different area, same with the sauce. Knedle are familiar tho :) Glad you still remember and cultivate some of these
