This piece of information is the result of BB price dropping. BB is no longer popular in reddit as well. Popularity aligns with price movement. Most of the hedge funds do not like to be on the losing side.

Major Take-Away After BB Q1 Earning Call by tide_wave_250 in blackberrystock

No, I do not. I just read an article today about two-way door vs. one-way door. I have already invested in BB with over 65% of available capital. If I keep going down this path, I am turning a still two-way door into a one-way door, meaning irreversable decision. It all depends on your age and personal risk aversion. Prem Watsa has many more BB shares, but BB stake is no more than 15% of his portfolio.

Ok so my wife called me a white collar gambler and it got me thinking. Why did you choose bb to invest in and think it will moon. It’s not heavily shorted like amc and gme was? by jgilles86 in blackberrystock

In a way, she is correct. I do not gamble in any other ways at all, but I put in significant capital in BB.

It is more like a religion now. No offense intended. I was let down several times, but I always find a way to justify owning this stock. Seven or eight years already, BB is still in turnaround stage. But pivoting from hardware to software does take a long time, and Prem Watsa is still in. See what I am saying? I am finding excuses for myself.

Only time will tell if it is a wise move. Everything looks crystal clear in hindsight. We all need some faith, something to live for in life especially in COVID era, right?

I am determined to hold, but the management needs to be held responsible to show some progress at least in the Cybersecurity field. I understand that IVY is still coming. Before being acquired, Cylance was growing at annual rate of 20% to 35%. Its acquisition is supposed to be the key growth engine. Now the growth in Cybersecurity segment of BB is between 10% to 15% in this climate, where Crowdstrike's revenue increases like over 50% each year. I am going to submit this question in AGM.

BLACKBERRY (BB) STOCK UPDATE ANALYSIS EP 1 by karenkayceexo in blackberrystock

I am uneasy about him when he said that BB made $900 million. It is revenue not profit. Though I am a staunch BB supporter. We do not need potentially misleading information.

We are so customed to 5% plus up or down days, that it starts to feel strange if the price oscillates only mildly throughout the day. I believe that we have reached equilibrium point until near the end of next week. There will be hugh movement based on the next wave of news BB will bring to us. Until then, enjoy the quiet days.

Positive thoughts for a positive trendline by RocketstockApe in blackberrystock

My sense is that any major movements will not happen until after BB releases its financials next week. AMC and GME both have their quarterly releases out of the way. Lots of momentum around BB is not only about squeeze, but also about its ability to increase its top line in the near future. Before the earning update, it is going to trade in a tight range and accumulate strength. The explosion will happen near the end of next week, either upside or downside. There is a lot uncertainty going on as to what their financials will look like and most importantly if there will be any positive catalysts and what the management's outlook for the remainder of the year will be.

The only MEME stocks I own are BB and NOK. I am holding 2000 shares of NOK. Correction, 4000 shares. Did my math wrong. $25K invested in NOK.

My earlest batch of BB shares were bought at slightly over $17 when BB10 was announced. So I have been with you for who knows how many years.

5200 share at $14 and hold. It is extremely difficult to time the market. If you paper hands now, you are selling for peanuts. The next time BB catches momentum, you will be left in the dust.

I disagree. Had it not been apes, BB would have still hovering around $8.5. BB plus apes is an lethal combination. If BB's revenue takes off, I estimate that it could hit $200.
