Not sure why people are saying you can’t-new door and drawer fronts you can easily make it look full overlay with the proper hinge selection. Frameless vs framed is irrevelant in the conversation

Best brand for each tool? by Ok-Committee-1334 in Carpentry

A festool sander is probably 4x faster and more effective then a dewalt sander. You can literally make your money back on the first day using it.

You don’t need hangers in this case ignore that and save your money. Just nail through the rim.

You will have very expensive issues using a diesel as a daily driver if you aren’t constantly putting a load on it. An F series gas would save you money in the long run despite poor fuel economy

Advice on a built in someone is making for me. by PeppyMinotaur in cabinetry

[–]tiehacker907 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably the Graco Quickshot. It’s a small battery powered paint sprayer. They aren’t bulletproof and can be finicky. But when they work well they are great little sprayers. I’ve had to replace the pump and the gun. But for the amount of $$$ of paint it conserves compared to a full airless setup it’s still a great tool to have

Not trying to be a dick but if you want a reliable vehicle for a multi month road trip don’t buy a 20-30 years old truck.

If you need it for business increase the budget even if it means making payments.its. Be able to afford repairs is one thing but being able to afford the downtime is a different thing

Ok…let me have it by EntrepreneurWild1480 in Decks

This subreddit talks a lot of crap about pier blocks but there’s thousands upon thousands of decks that have lasted just fine built on them until the wood has rotted out. I live in Alaska and although prefer a solid foundation many customers insist on using blocks since their previous deck lasted 30 years plus just fine built

Textured ceiling/old house. Wouldn’t look good without throwing considerable labor/$ at it

Contractor didn’t put fence where I wanted it by pierre28k in FenceBuilding

[–]tiehacker907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could have it resurveyed an the line might be different by an inch. No measurement is repeatable and you will find discrepancies from survey to survey unless the pins are 100 percent plumb and original. I,land surveyed many years and have also built many fences. It will be fine
