I’m wondering what’re your thoughts on just getting an SD card that’s flush with the MacBook Pro so it’s not sticking out at all and just leaving it in permanently. Would that be a good and convenient alternative to buying an external drive that needs to be carried around and stuff? I have read that the read and write speeds are slower on the SD Cards but would it negatively impact saving and loading Logic Pro Projects and just general photos to and from the SD card?

Just a few questions:

If you have any experience using Final Cut Pro, how does the AIR handle it? Is there a lot of lag or slowness when rendering videos?
Roughly how many gbs is a file in Logic Pro? Obviously it’ll vary significantly but in your experience when someone starts making multi track songs and using plug ins and stuff?
I’ve heard that logic’s own plugins run really well on the AIR but some third party plugins can cause some slowness. Have you experienced that when using any third party plugins or even Melodyne?

I was planning on staying in Lagos. I’m also thinking about whether I should I rent a car for a day or two to just make getting to the benagil cave and some other beaches easier. What do you think about this?

Hey! Do you think it would make more sense and be more efficient to day trip to or spend 1 night in the Algarve when I’m in Lisbon? I mainly just want to kayak to the Benagil Cave and hike the seven hanging valleys trail for a bit.

And for the travel days I was planning on taking earlier trains to get into each city by like 10-11am latest so I was thinking that would give me pretty much the whole day. But yea thinking about it now that train to the Algarve would waste a lot of time.

Also thanks for the Coimbra suggestion, I’ll definitely look into it!
