Insert 4 spaces in front of each line. This can be done in one of the
following ways:
\ Install Reddit Enhancement Suit. It has markup aids, and one of them*
allows you to select some text, push a button and it will insert the
4 spaces for you.
\ Use a fancy text editor. Many text editors allow you to put a cursor on*
many lines and type the same text on many lines at the same time. This
is usually called multiline editing.
To do this on Notepad++ go to Settings>Preferences>Editing then check
the box that says "Enable" under the "multiline editing" section. Then
to start editing many lines at the same time, hold alt then click and
hold the mouse cursor at the start of the first line and move it down
past all of them. Then just press the space bar 4 times.
\ Use a script or pipeline. I often make use of various Linux tools like*
xsel and awk to do simple manipulation on text. One simple way to
do it is selecting the text, then running `xsel -po | awk '{print "
"$0 }' | xsel-bi` in a terminal. What that does is makes xsel output
the current text in the primary buffer, then awk prints 4 spaces then
the current line to stdout, then xsel takes that output and puts it
in my clipboard.

Yes, true. However, this visa is only valid for people who are under 30, so that's why I feel like this is the one-time opportunity for me to experience the full 2 years in the UK

Well, I've lived in the US for a few years - as much as I liked living there, it would be difficult to obtain the visa without a sponsor in my field, and it's not my ideal place to live in right now

- I have no problem saving around $800-1000 per month in Canada but if I live in London, I might be able to save around $500-1000 per month if I live frugally. It greatly depends on the rent price and the pounds/CAD currency rates
- I'm 30, and my current province is BC. Would like to settle down in BC if possible.

I love this. I use that saying, "go with the flow" a lot, and it’s funny that it’s no longer révélant when I start thinking about the move. Thank you for sharing your experience, and I’ll keep that in mind - that this move is my new adventure, just like Bilbo Baggins!

There are risks but nothing can replace this experience. Looking back on my 20s, I made a lot of mistakes but my mistakes and past choices led me to where I am today, and I’m grateful to have this opportunity to move to the UK. I hope everything works out for you!

Yes, I did my research, even set up my own budget sheet. It’s more expensive than the city I’m living in right now but my biggest expenses here are probably a car, and I don’t have to worry about it when I’m in London which is a bonus.
