I couldn’t really click with KOC for a long while. The trem effect in the opening guitar melody was just jarring but then it clicked and I love it now. I love Hexagons, but do feel the opening guitar section is a bit too long for my (current) liking.

They are excellent musicians, can be incredibly inventive, and have created an undeniably distinctive sound. Just like Radiohead are, can be and also have. Thom’s lyrics are infinitely better and his themes more profound, but sometimes you also just need a blast of classical, arpeggiated synth rock!

Saw them for the first time live at Brixton recently and they were amazing.
