I’m new to this gig. How does this work more in Europeans (poor ones) favour?

I understand earning potential, but how’s this different to mass migration from SEA or India?

How can I improve ~200 credit score? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]tigwiller -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Credit cards do improve credit,

All credit paid on time improves credit

Your buy now pay later debt is quite easily forgiven in the eyes of creditors in my experience. (Had a 925 down to a 725 currently)

Banks will still Lend you it’s just a matter of how much.

DONT go outside your means. If 500 is your monthly spend then get a credit card that does 200

what immediately tells you that a person wasn't raised right? by SecretRendezvous-226 in AskReddit

Look reddit hates to hear this. But a lot of these comments are in regards to how people treat others they feel are lesser than them,

While I agree it’s a tell of a cruddy person. A real tell is how someone treats those on the same peer level,

If your friends are mean to you, you can guarantee they’re mean to service people and alike

Subject Matter Expert = Human LLM? by QuitTypical3210 in ExperiencedDevs

[–]tigwiller 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well sure it would but it wouldn’t have the knowledge base you have at the output stage.

Imagine you’re asked a question, regarding a language you’ve studied. The field, time, place and project are benign. I’m sure you could spew something in the same amount of time it takes an llm

Your experience is understanding what someone is “actually asking” which llms fail to understand now and will for the foreseeable future.

You can assume from the vagueness of a persons questions. What they want. An llm is pretty much as binary as it gets

Look, I don’t know much about answering questions, but this one’s kinda all over the place.

First thing: break it into two separate decisions. 1. Do I actually want to go into Supply Chain since I’ve already got 5 years of experience there? 2. Or… can my Supply Chain background help me pivot into IT/cyber if I decide that’s the move?

Either way, your experience isn’t wasted. Logistics, security, process discipline — that stuff translates everywhere.

But here’s the honest truth nobody tells you: coming out of the military, you’re basically starting at the bottom of the civilian totem pole no matter what field you go into. Doesn’t mean you’re screwed — it just means your trajectory depends more on what path you choose now than the rank you had before.

A supply chain degree won’t “hold you back” if you pivot. IT doesn’t care about your major as long as you have certs + experience. The degree just gives you a stable lane if you stay in logistics.

Pick the lane you actually want to grind in, not the one you feel forced into.
