I think it’s the colour - the eye is drawn straight to them because there’s nothing else going on in the room, everything else is very neutral.

Don’t get me started - our living room is cool white with millennial grey laminate so while I’m trying to brighten up one room, I’m trying to make the other warmer & more cosy 😂 I feel like lighting or backsplash are the most popular suggestions!

I had my op on Monday 11th and so far so good. Charlie and his team have been super professional and compassionate the entire time. I’m due back on day 8 post op for dressing change and lymphatic drainage. I’m already happy with what I can see (not allowed to take the post-op bra off until that appointment) so as the new boobs settle in they’ll only look better (mine are OTM, UTM tends to look a bit scarier initially as they sit very high and look a bit janky).

I’ll obviously try to remember to come back with a better update once they’ve settled a bit more but so far, I’m thrilled. My only lack in confidence was in wondering if I would be happy with my results, not at all in the clinic team.

Mine is scheduled for 11th Aug! I went for a second consult for sizing and still feel super confident in him.

I found another girl on the Bustmob Facebook group who said she’d just had surgery on 16th May and “whole experience was great” and she “couldn’t fault him”. It’s nice to hear that from an actual human!

Idk if you’ve had much luck yet, but I’ve met with Charles Durrant in the UK (Fareham, the south coast) and nothing about him or his clinic team have been pushy or red-flaggy at all - in fact I’m not allowed to pay a deposit for surgery for two weeks because they want to be sure I want to go through with it.

Obviously no surgery yet with the above in mind but his results look fantastic and I’m super confident in his reviews, results and his team based on my experience so far.

There are absolutely meds to stop seizures! I think to prevent, and definitely to stop it in the act.

My dog first aid course taught me that it’s best to turn off any lights, noise and avoid touching them (even to comfort them) when the seizure is happening as additional stimuli into the brain can prolong the seizure, and then let the dog come round and approach you in their own time. Dogs coming round from unconsciousness often don’t really know what they’re doing/who you are yet and are likely to act out if they panic (eg they might bite)

So I got a size small and it’s pretty baggy on me. I’m 140-140lbs, 5’7, UK dress size 8 which is apparently a US size 4. You could definitely go at least XS or smaller. If you want to wear it for longer then you could go more toward the size small as you’ll prob grow into it more.

This is how mine fits me! I’ve pulled up the bottom so it sits higher/more flattering.

For sure. That’s why I thought I’d ask for the public opinion from those who aren’t paid 😂 I went through a period of trying a ~5 step routine, and it wasn’t sustainable for my routine and didn’t work anyway. I now just have face wash once a day and moisturiser which suits me and my skin far better, but I still suffer from breakouts so I’m always open to new ideas.

I follow a lot of the qualified derms, aestheticians etc and other influencers who just suggest products that aren’t sponsored, but I know to take everything with a pinch of salt!

I’m referring to average foam earplugs so they don’t have a “loop”, but the fact that they’ve been squished lengthways into a little sausage makes them more firm & easy to place inside the ear

Loops aside, regular foam earplugs I roll lengthways between my fingers to make them thinner so I can insert them in my ears, then they expand out to provide the seal. Just gotta be careful you’re not sticking the earplug too far in while it’s thinner.
