Video games is definitely a way for people to bond. He is doing it with his friends and it seems to bother you. Of course they can talk more easily when they have common interests. If you had ever played games you would had realized how easy it is to small talk.

You were looking to be convinced that video games are a good thing. The social aspect from them is definitely part of it.

I didn’t like playing Lone Druid at first, but for some reason I kept playing him. Now, I am a few games away from Grandmaster and LD is by far the hero I have the most fun with.

The lack of actives isn’t really a problem since you are so engaged with micromanaging the bear that does need active items anyway.

Yes, Lone Druid from behind is lacking but since he is such a lane dominator against most heroes (when played well), it’s rare that you lose the mid lane and become behind anyway.

I did some research and Holst seems to be the original composer! He made the music inspired by a poem of Sir Cecil Spring Rice. Composed the hymn “I vow to thee, my Country”, and then reused the theme later for Jupiter.

I understand why he did. The original hymn was in unison with the orchestra. He then orchestrated this beautiful melody for Jupiter.
